Laibach

Got home to find Laibach waiting for me (erm, not literally thank god). Snagged WAT for cheap online and am sitting here with it blasting me away. Wonderful stuff. I’m sure there’s many who wouldn’t go for the blacker than black humour, the messianic tendencies, the piledriver ceaselessness of it all… but I’m not among them at this moment. I’m wondering whether this is a shortlived infatuation or whether it’ll last, have to see. Dark, can hear the wind whistling over the blasted landscape. Saw them 10 years ago at the Union Chapel and enjoyed but didn’t pursue, the group’s always been hanging around in the hinterlands of my consciousness, I guess waiting the right moment.
