Thursday, Cornwall

Off to Cornwall at the invitation of Mike and Carolyn for Mike’s 40th. Packed finally by 2 in the afternoon. Made good time to what seemed an almost dizzyingly distant Cornwall – four and a half hours’ driving and a break for tea before getting on our way again. Arrived I think after dusk. Children charmingly excited by the new accomodation and the freedom to run around and explore. Had been worried that the distance and the brevity of the break would be too much, but the ease of the journey allayed such fears.
