Monday, Cornwall
Last full day before heading home and it turned out to be a lovely one. We followed Carolyn, Mike and Ray and Linden and Christian in the car and arrived at Constantine Bay past Padstow after buying a picnic (including hot vegetable cornish pasties). As we settled down on the glorious sandy beach it rained on us, but we persisted and it cleared up even with some blue sky. Mike and Christian took Linden off as he was a little miserable. I went off with Ames and Gabes and Ray over the rocks and had a great time, we joked about going on a luxury trip which meant falling over and getting wet, it were reet lovely. We went round the headland to the next bay, had coffee and cake in the YHA about to close for the season and then walked down to the sandy beach and paddled in the sea and built sandcastles. Couldn’t really be beaten!
