Insert a cd into a computer connected to the net and it’s possible to download track titles, artist title, album title, year of recording, genre and track order. This information is supplied gratis by Gracenote (or/and) CDDB. What if this information also included all the details that were supplied with the original cd release? Musicians, producer/s, engineer, thanks, etc, etc. Why doesn’t it already?

I’ve been writing this blog for quite a lot longer than three years and now I’m finally getting round to writing something in the About page. But what to write? Oh well, if you check the category listings you’ll see what I cover. It’s a ragtag assortment of bits and bobs, anything that catches my fancy really. Unsurprisingly, much of that is music.
