Life imitates art
I’m sure my idea wasn’t original, but more than 10 years ago whilst living in Spain I made a series of photographs called ‘*****_*******_*****’ (viewable here). The series erased all text from a number of objects, adverts, street scenes, etc using Photoshop. The blank typewriter was pretty much a cornerstone image. Now I see the concept’s entered the real world with a commercially available keyboard whose keys are unmarked. It might be a spoof, but it’s a shame they put a name on it (top left ‘Das Keyboard’) and annotated the LEDs. I still like it though.
