Just received a couple of Stereolab cds in the post after a successful bid on eBay. Always found it a little difficult to ‘get’ them. Thought I’d try again. It’s playing this very moment and I’ve just asked Amy what she thinks of the music. She said “It’s good music for wiggling your bum to.” (Amy’s laughing on reading this). Perfect description I think.

Heh heh I guess so. I still keep wavering between finding them very samey and very lovely. Before I always just found them samey so I guess that’s an improvement… I should love them though as I’m a big fan of retro-futurism when done well.
I’ve been writing this blog for quite a lot longer than three years and now I’m finally getting round to writing something in the About page. But what to write? Oh well, if you check the category listings you’ll see what I cover. It’s a ragtag assortment of bits and bobs, anything that catches my fancy really. Unsurprisingly, much of that is music. I much appreciate comments, but whether you feel like making them or not, I hope you find something of interest.
