Interviewing

So here I am, interviewing Jon Hassell by email. I’ve only just begun and already I’m wondering how to keep track of the proliferation of questions and answers: One question leads to one answer with multiple parts, many of which I can’t resist asking further questions to. The last time this happened was with Jan Jelinek. My response at that time was to use DHTML to craft a tree-like structure. In the end it got too complicated and I failed to complete it. I’d love to be able to dynamically reflect such interaction in a way similar to the Thinkmap Visual Thesaurus. Except that I picture something like branching seaweed undulating very gently, or roots gradually pushing deeper down the screen.
