In at number 10…

While idly testing out a new (to me) Firefox extension that adds thumbnails to search results listings, del.icio.us and the like, I did a test search with Google using the search term ‘Kraftwerk‘ (surprise!) I was chuffed to discover that there at the bottom of the first page was my Kraftwerk overview that Milkfactory published three years ago. I still like the first line:

My father, fascinated by the novel electronic sounds he heard on the radio one day went out and bought an LP.

Fingers crossed that Bruno will keep Milkfactory up for quite a while longer, unlike Sheikh’s decision to remove Absorb and its store of 10 years’ worth of reviews, daftness and wonder. www.absorb.org redirects to his failme project now, a shame. I’ve just visited Milkfactory’s homepage and see that there’s a message “… the current site will remain here for the foreseeable future.” Good call Bruno!
