To be honest I think I look a bit silly with them on, but what the hell, as long as my heads being blown off by high quality sound I'm not really minding ;-) Chris, thanks for the suggestions, I'm looking forward to checking out the new Portishead. I've just reviewed Sun Ra's Media Dreams (recorded on same tour as Disco 3000) for the Beeb and that's pleasurably heavy in parts. Adrian Sherwood's On-U Sound Crash mix from, I think, last year is very good stuff. Never got into Swans, but will add to my list of music to revisit.
